Activities:
- Holding a symposium on the renewal of religious discourse and its role in combating extremism, at the headquarters of the French National Assembly.
- Holding a symposium on religious reform and its mechanisms, at the Catholic Institute in Paris.
Holding a round table at the headquarters of the Bishops' Conference of France (CEF).
- Paying condolence visit to the church that witnessed the murder of Reverend Jacques Hamel by an extremist and stressing that Islam forbids these criminal acts.
- Meeting the Archbishop of the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Rouen.
- Holding an interview for the Vatican Radio.
- Giving a lecture on “Redressing misconceptions”, at the La Mosquée Arrahma, one of the largest mosques in Nantes.
- Giving the Friday sermon at the La Mosquée Arrahma, which was packed with members of the Muslim communities in the city.
- Giving the Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque of Lyon and holding a series of activities and events.
- Participating in two round tables held at the Great Mosque of Lyon, in the presence of a large group of thinkers, researchers, and parents and those concerned with Muslim affairs in Lyon.
- Holding a symposium after ‘Asr prayer at the Grande Mosque of Lyon (‘Ali bin Abi Talib), the first mosque built in the city, in the early eighties.
