Today at 10:00 am, His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, will meet Mr. Gérard Larcher, President of the French Senate, at the Headquarters of Al-Azhar. The meeting is scheduled to discuss ways of cooperation between Al-Azhar and the Republic of France, as well as joint efforts to combat extremism and terrorism and to promote a culture of tolerance and peace.
