Al-Azhar Grand Imam receives Egyptian Ambassador to Chad and urges him to pay due attention to foreign students at Al-Azhar
Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, received, on Sunday at the headquarters of Al-Azhar, Ambassador Osama Al-Hadi, the new Egyptian Ambassador to Chad. The Grand Imam stressed that Al-Azhar will save no effort to provide all aspects of academic, cultural, medical and missionary support to the African continent, all stemming from its historical role in supporting our brothers and children in the African continent. HE recommended paying attention to the file of the students coming from the State of Chad via removing all the obstacles that might face them while joining Al-Azhar’s educational institutions.
On his part, Ambassador Osama Al-Hadi expressed his pleasure for meeting the Grand Imam and informing him of the efforts exerted by Al-Azhar to support Chad in the domains of preaching, education and relief, affirming that he will do his best to eliminate the obstacles facing Chadian students to get enrolled at Al-Azhar.
