Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, received, on Wednesday morning at the headquarters of Al-Azhar, Mr. Bassel Salah, Egypt’s new Ambassador to Serbia, to review Al-Azhar's strategy to serve the Muslims of Serbia. The meeting touched on the efforts of Al-Azhar in the field of training imams and preachers and designing a specialized training programs to address the issues of interest to each society according to the nature of the challenges facing it, along with discussing the role of the expatriate students and the envoys of Al-Azhar in introducing the moderate approach of Islam and disseminating its authentic religious teachings, and what Al-Azhar can offer to serve the Muslims of Serbia.
