His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, received a delegation from the Egyptian churches who came to greet him on the blessed ˁEid ul-ˀAdha. The delegation members expressed their sincere greetings to the Grand Imam on the blessed occasion, praising his keenness to reunite the Egyptians under the umbrella of Al-Azhar, and his efforts to establish social and global peace through rounds of dialogue with various religious leaders around the world. 

For his part, the Grand Imam thanked the delegation of churches for their greetings, stressing that their visit is a clear indication that eastern religions bond and embrace and that the Egyptian national unity is consolidated. He then pointed out that the Egyptian Family House plays an important role in promoting the values of love and peace among the Egyptians.
