Thousands of tons of food, clean water, medicine, basic necessities, and 1,000 fully equipped tents from Bayt al-Zakah wal-Sadaqat reach our brothers in Gaza.

As part of the ongoing support and relief efforts for our brothers and sisters in the besieged Gaza Strip, the eleventh relief convoy from the Zakat and Charity House crossed into the Gaza Strip this Sunday morning. Under the direction of His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad al-Tayyeb, the convoy crossed into the Gaza Strip via the Rafah land crossing on the Egyptian-Palestinian border. The aid will be distributed to our Palestinian brothers and sisters, who have been subjected to a deadly starvation for nearly two years. This came after His Eminence directed the immediate resumption of relief convoys to Gaza following the resumption of aid flows into the Strip.

The convoy included more than 1,000 tents, equipped with tons of food, clean water, medical and living supplies, as well as baby formula, diapers, medicine, and healthcare supplies. This comes as part of an urgent response to international and local reports confirming the spread of famine and the crisis reaching unprecedented levels, particularly in the northern Gaza Strip.

This comes as part of the global campaign Help Gaza, launched by the Grand Imam to support the people of Gaza under the slogan “Donate your wealth and support Palestine.” The campaign has been prepared with the participation of charitable institutions and humanitarian organizations from more than 85 countries around the world, and carries thousands of tons of relief aid, including essential medicines and medical supplies, baby formula, diapers, healthcare products, clothing, blankets, dry food, canned goods, and potable water.
