His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad al-Tayyeb, extended his sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and the brotherly Saudi people, on the occasion of the celebration of the 95th Saudi National Day.

His Eminence affirmed the depth of the close relations between Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, appreciating the role played by the Kingdom in serving Islam and Muslims, caring for the Two Holy Mosques, and facilitating the performance of Hajj and Umrah rituals for millions of Muslims. His Eminence called on Allah Almighty to preserve the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people, and to continue to bestow the blessings of security, safety, stability, and prosperity upon the Kingdom.
