Grand Imam of Al-Azhar greets President El-Sisi and the Egyptian people on the 69th anniversary of July 23 Revolution
The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, extends his sincere congratulations to Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, and the great Egyptian people on the 69th anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution. Al-Azhar affirms that the glorious July 23 Revolution paved the way for the Egyptians to retrieve their properties and resources, and that it supported the poor and the marginalized, setting the most wonderful examples for the people’s unity with their armed forces to achieve the aspirations and hopes of the Egyptians and praising the role played by the Egyptian army in confronting the challenges and dangers that threaten our homeland. Al-Azhar also calls on the Egyptians to keep working hard and to persevere towards achieving progress and prosperity for our country and its great people, praying to Allah to protect our Egypt from all harm and evil, and to grant it more security, safety, and stability.
