Grand Imam: Our hearts are with Lebanon … We pray to Allah to accelerate its progress and prosperity
H.E The Grand Imam expressed Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif’s solidarity with the Lebanese people during the critical conditions they are undergoing, praying to Allah Almighty to accelerate its progress and prosperity and for all the Lebanese to maintain their sense of responsibility and give priority to the interest of Lebanon so that the country may be cruised to a safe haven. In a tweet posted on his official Facebook and Twitter accounts in Arabic and English, the Grand Imam stated, “Our hearts are with Lebanon, this country that is dear to every Arab. We support and sustain it at this critical moment it is going through, and pray to Allah to accelerate its progress and prosperity and ask all to maintain their sense of responsibility and give priority to the interest of Lebanon so that the country may be cruised to a safe haven.”
