The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, underwent spine physiotherapy sessions in a specialized German hospital, upon recommendation of specialized Egyptian doctors to conduct lumbar spine examinations, as the results showed the need for intensive lumbar vertebrae physiotherapy. The Grand Imam is now fine, thanks to Allah.
Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif appreciates the noble sentiments, sincere prayers, and true love shown by the masses of Egyptians and Muslims around the world towards the Grand Imam.
The Grand Imam is scheduled to leave for Rome early next week to participate in the activities of the Summit of Religious Leaders on Climate Change under the title Faith and Science: Towards the twenty-sixth United Nations Climate Change Conference, on October 4, and also to participate in the religious leaders’ meeting on education under the title Towards a Global Compact for Education, on October 5, which coincides with World Teachers' Day.
