The Grand Imam mourns the "Prince of Humanity", Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber, Emir of Kuwait
In constant contentment with Allah’s Decree, Al-Azhar and its Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, mourned His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, who passed away today, Tuesday. The Sheikh of Al-Azhar confirms that history witnesses that His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, was a wise, loyal, advocate and patron of peace and dialogue, who always worked for the advancement of his country, and served the causes of the Arab and Muslim countries, and thus deserved the title, "Prince of Humaneness". In face of this calamitous event, Al-Azhar expresses sincere condolences and sympathies to the Arab and Muslim countries, and to the State of Kuwait, its government and people, praying to the Almighty Allah to dwell the passing Sheikh Sabah in vastn gardens of Paradise, and to grant his family and relatives, and all his lovers, patience and solace; “Surely, we belong to Allah and unto Him we shall return.”
