Grand Imam mourns former Head of Supreme Constitutional Court
In constant contentment with Allah’s Decree, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb mourned HR Judge Saeed Marie, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Constitutional Court, who passed away yesterday morning, after a struggle with illness. The Grand Imam appreciates the distinguished career achievements of the late counselor, whose career course was full of rich activities and national giving, and whose work has enriched constitutional judiciary in Egypt and the Arab world for more than 40 years. HE the Grand Imam extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased and to all members of the judiciary, praying to Allah Almighty to bless him with his boundless mercy and to lend his family and his relatives patience and solace: “Surely, we belong to Allah and unto Him we shall return.”
