The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb denounced the claim that “Muslims are terrorists,” stressing that it is a hoax bought by many, including even some of the Muslims themselves. His Eminence indicated, in a tweet on his Twitter and Facebook pages, that the fact, as sustained by reality, history and conscientious people, remains that Muslims are the builders of civilizations wherever they dwelled, even in the heart of Europe, and that they are now victims of double standards in a some of these countries.
