Grand Imam offers condolences to the Emir of Kuwait on the passing of Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah
His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, extends his sincere condolences and sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the sisterly Kuwait, on the passing of Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, former Minister of Defense, son of the late Emir of Kuwait, who passed away today, Sunday. The Grand Imam also extends his sincere condolences to the State of Kuwait, to the honorable Al-Sabah family, and to the brotherly Kuwaiti people, praying to Allah Almighty to bless the deceased with abundant mercy, and to grant his family with patience and solace; "Surely, we belong to Allah and unto Him we shall return."
