His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, congratulates Pope Francis, the Pope of the Vatican, and the masses of Christians around the world on the occasion of the glorious Christmas celebrations. He wishes the whole world happy many returns in security and safety, calling Allah the Almighty to rid the humanity of Covid-19 pandemic and to bless every one with health, safety and wellbeing. On this occasion, Al-Azhar affirms the strong relations between Islamic and Christian religious institutions around the world, and the continuous joint efforts made between Grand Imam At-Tayyeb and Pope Francis, to sustain the bridges of dialogue and communication among all religions and cultures, and consolidate the values of peace, coexistence, and human fraternity.
