HE Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, MCE ‎Chairman, extends his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Afghan people, ‎for the victims of the earthquake that hit Herat and Badghis provinces, and ‎resulted in hundreds of casualties and injuries.‎

He also extends his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, asking ‎Allah Almighty to shower the victims with boundless mercy, to comfort the ‎hearts of their families and loved ones and grant them patience and solace, and ‎to grant the injured a speedy recovery; “Surely, we belong to Allah and unto ‎Him we shall return.”
