H.E. Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, mourned, in great acceptance of Allah’s Predestination, Mr. Major General Muhammad Amin, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Financial Affairs and Treasurer of the Long Live Egypt Fund, who passed away today, Saturday. The Grand Imam applauded the late Major General Amin’s cooperation with Al-Azhar through the EZCH and his keenness to serve the poor and needy, and to facilitate the work of humanitarian and relief convoys. He thus called on Allah the Almighty to make Maj. Gen. Amin’s good deeds an intercessor for him and to shower him with boundless mercy and his forgiveness, and to grant his family and relatives patience and solace, concluding. “We belong to Allah and unto Him we shall return.”
