Accepting the will of Allah, His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, mourned Sheikh Fawzi Al-Zafzaf, the former Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, who passed away this Tuesday morning, after his huge contribution to the scientific and administrative fields.

His Eminence extended his sincere condolences to the family of Sheikh Fawzi Al-Zafzaf, praying to the Almighty Allah to grant the deceased His mercy and forgiveness and reward him for serving Islam and Muslims, “Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.”
