Grand Imam's Help Gaza campaign sends 325 trucks with 6,000 Tons of relief so far

 

 

At the direction of His Eminence, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Supervisor of the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House (EZACH), the House launched on Monday the sixth relief convoy to support and provide relief to the people of Gaza, as part of the international campaign Help Gaza. The convoy includes 100 trucks, carrying approximately 2,000 tons of food, water, medical and other supplies, and large quantities of blankets, quilts, and mattresses.

 

Delegations from more than eighty countries around the world participated in preparing the convoy of the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House which set off from the headquarters of Al-Azhar this morning, heading to the Rafah crossing on the Egyptian-Palestinian border, in preparation for its entry into the Strip to provide relief to our brothers in Gaza. This convoy is the sixth in the Help Gaza campaign, and the second during the holy month of Ramadan.

 

This convoy comes as part of the relief campaign launched by EZACH, amid the 6-month-old Zionist aggression on Gaza Strip, that has caused humanitarian and health catastrophe that is increasing day after day. The aggression resulted in the death of more than 32000 people, most of them are children, women and the elderly, in addition to more than 75000 injured people, amid a war of extermination and starvation carried out by the Israeli occupation against the Gaza Strip. EZACH has so far been able to send out 325 trucks, carrying approximately 6,000 tons of humanitarian and relief aid.
