HE Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, and HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain exchanged greetings on the approach of Eid Al-Fitr, calling on Allah Almighty to grant the Muslim nation many happy returns of the occasion in peace, goodness, blessings, and prosperity

. During a telephone call, HE the Grand Imam expressed his appreciation to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his efforts for peace and human coexistence. He also expressed sincere greetings on this blessed occasion and prayers to Allah to safeguard the Kingdom of Bahrain, the leadership, and the people, and to bless it with further prosperity, elevation, and progress.

For his part, HM King Hamad bin Isa expressed his appreciation for the role of HE the Grand Imam in promoting Islamic religious sciences and demonstrating the true image of Islam.
