While accepting Allah’s will, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and its scholars mourn, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and their accompanying delegation, who all passed away following the crash of the helicopter they were traveling in.

 

The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar extends his sincere condolences to the Iranian people, and to the families of the Iranian President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the accompanying delegation, praying to Allah Almighty to show them His infinite mercy, and to grant their families and loved ones patience and solace. {To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return}.
