Accepting Allah's will, His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, mourned the great scholar, Prof. Mohamed Ali Ibrahim Mahgoub, former Minister of Endowments, and Professor of Islamic Sharia and domestic relations at Ain Shams University, who passed away today. Prof. Mahgouba spent his life serving knowledge and religion, and defending Islam and Muslims. 

His Eminence extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, praying to Allah Almighty to have mercy on him, forgive him and grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and grant his family and relatives patience and solace, "To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return."
