The Grand Imam offers condolences to Indonesian President over typhoon and flood victims
Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, extends his sincere condolences and sympathy to Mr. Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, for the victims of the typhoon and floods that caused dozens of deaths and injuries. His Eminence also extends his sincere condolences to the State of Indonesia, the leadership, government and people, and to the families of the victims, praying to the Almighty Allah to bless the victims with His infinite mercy and forgiveness, to grant their families patience and solace, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
