We appreciate the role of the Grand Imam in presenting the true and fair image of Islam, Head of the State Lawsuits Authority

 

His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, received today, Thursday, at Al-Azhar, Counselor Abdel-Razak Mahmoud Shoaib, Head of State Lawsuits Authority, who congratulated the Grand Imam on the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet (PBUH).

 

The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar welcomed the Head of the State Lawsuits Authority and his accompanying delegation. He stressed that we celebrate the birth anniversary of the best of mankind, our noble Messenger (PBUH) and his message that will remain – for ever - a beacon for humanity, and the light that guides it and corrects its path whenever it loses its way. He stressed that our world today is in dire need of following the Prophet's guidance to save our world and Muslim societies from inhumane conditions.

 

Counselor Shoaib, for his part, expressed the Authority’s appreciation for the role of His Eminence in clarifying the true and fair image of Islam and refuting extremist ideas through his moderate opinions and words in various international, regional and domestic forums. He stressed that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif represents a symbol of knowledge, moderation and tolerance around the world, calling on Allah Almighty to bestow the blessings of health and wellness upon His Eminence the Grand Imam.

 

The meeting was attended by Prof. Mohamed al-Dawini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, Sheikh Ayman Abdel-Ghani, Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, Counselor Mahmoud Ibrahim, Legal Advisor to the Islamic Research Academy and Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, Counselor Zein El-Hawary, Head of the Technical Office of the Authority, Counselor Ahmed Thabet, Secretary-General of the Authority, and Counselor Ahmed Saad, General Supervisor of the Office of the Chairman of the Authority.
