Al-Azhar Grand Imam (GI), Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, extended his sincere condolences to Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and to the Kuwaiti people, on the passing of Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, former Kuwaiti Prime Minister, who passed away at the age of 82.

 

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif expresses its appreciation for the deceased and his journey of achievements in all fields of work, his love for Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and its scholars, and his dedication to serving his country and supporting the issues of its nation. Al-Azhar calls on Allah Almighty to make his deeds an intercessor for him on the Day of Judgment.

 

The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar also extends his sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased, praying to Allah Almighty to forgive him, show him His mercy, grant him a place in His Paradise, and grant his family and relatives patience and solace: “To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”
