The Supreme Council of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, headed by His Eminence the Grand Imam (GI) of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad al-Tayyeb, honored the students of the Faculty of Dentistry, Al-Azhar University, who won the international competition for dental colleges, which was organized by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) in England, and held at New Giza University in Cairo.

His Eminence the Grand Imam praised the knowledge level of the students, their excellence, and achieving advanced positions in the competition. He called on all Al-Azhar students to participate in international competitions and demonstrate their talents, abilities and the robustness of Al-Azhar curricula and its moral and educational system. He also stated that Al-Azhar students are distinguished in all fields, not only in religious fields, wishing them and all students success.

Student Youssef Salah Mahmoud Mashali won second place, student Omar Taj El-Din Abu Al-Wafa Muhammad won fourth place, student Muhammad Osama Abdel Rahim won fifth place, and student Abdullah Mahmoud Muhammad Amin won sixth place.
