On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, Al-Azhar Grand Imam Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, directed those in charge of the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House (EZACH) to double the monthly subsidies during the blessed month of Ramadan, in support of the more needy families entitled to zakat. 

 For his part, Major General Amr Lotfy, EZACH Secretary-General, stressed that doubling the monthly subsidies, for more than 100,000 families eligible for assistance, comes within the framework of lifting the burdens off Egyptian families during this blessed month in light of the living burdens, social conditions and many requirements, especially with the repercussions of the Corona virus.

   It is worth mentioning that the EZACH, supervised by the Grand Imam, has witnessed a significant expansion in the activities of zakat and alms that it provides to support social solidarity, and help destitute families in need, and those who are deserving of zakat.
