His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE), Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, extends his sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and to his brothers, the Rulers and Sheikhs of the UAE and the Emirati people, on the occasion of the 53rd National Day, which commemorates the founding of the UAE Federation in a spirit of unity and solidarity.

 

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif commends the pioneering civilizational and developmental achievements made by the UAE for its people, and the global efforts it is making to consolidate the values of tolerance and brotherhood, and promote peace and coexistence among peoples and cultures. Al-Azhar asks Allah Almighty to grant the Emirati people as well as the Arab and Muslim nations goodness and prosperity.
