Al-Azhar Grand Imam offers his condolences to the President of Al-Azhar University on the passing of his father
With acceptance of Allah’s will and destiny, His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, and the professors, scholars and students of Al-Azhar, extend their sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to His Eminence Professor Salama Dawood, President of Al-Azhar University, on the passing of his esteemed father, asking Allah Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased, to admit him into His spacious Paradise, to reward him abundantly for the good deeds he did in his life, and to grant his family and relatives patience and solace. “Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.”
