Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb extends his sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces on the occasion of The 48th Anniversary of the Tenth of Ramadan Victory. He also congratulated Lieutenant-General Mohamed Zaki, Minister of Defense and Military Production, the armed forces, and the masses of the Egyptian people on this occasion.

The Grand Imam affirms that the tenth of Ramadan will remain a date engraved to express our pride and dignity, and the valor of our armed forces, which on that day wrote a historic epic to liberate the homeland and restore national dignity. The Egyptian army will always remain the shield and impregnable fortress of the Egyptian land. 

Al-Azhar Grand Imam calls on all the citizens of the country to draw inspiration from the spirit of these historic victories, and to actively participate in building the country, its renaissance and its advancement.

He asks the Lord the Almighty to restore this good occasion to our dear Egypt with more security, safety and stability, and to protect Egypt from all types of harm and evil.
