His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, is visiting the United Arab Emirates at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, to participate in the opening of the Arab Media Summit, which will be held from May 26 to 28.

The Grand Imam is scheduled to deliver the keynote speech at the summit, where he will highlight the media’s important role in addressing contemporary challenges.
