During this visit, the Grand Imam presided over the MCE emergency meeting to discuss the Zionist violations against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. The MCE issued a statement calling on the leaders of Muslim and Arab countries to take strict measures and stances towards stopping the terrorism of the Israeli entity against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Grand Imam met Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al-Falasi, Minister of Higher Education; Dr. Ali Al-Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the MCE; and Dr. Muhammad Matar Al-Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in Abu Dhabi.
