The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, received a delegation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) to discuss aspects of cooperation.

The Grand Imam said that Al-Azhar is keen to support educational institutions in Kazakhstan, praising the heritage and cultural dimension of Al-Farabi University, and its interest in cooperating with Al-Azhar to revive the Islamic heritage.

Members of the Kazakh University delegation, for their part, expressed their aspiration to benefit from the expertise of Al-Azhar University, as it is one of the most prestigious universities in the world, praising the contributions of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif and its efforts to preserve the heritage of Islamic civilization and disseminate the teachings of Islam according to a moderate approach.
