The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, received Major General Muhammad Al-Assar, Minister of Military Production, in order to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides. The Grand Imam said that Al-Azhar appreciates the prominent role played by the Ministry of Military Production in supporting the state’s development plan, pointing out that Al-Azhar is keen to benefit from the ministry’s expertise and capabilities in developing the infrastructure of Al-Azhar’s facilities.

Meanwhile, Major General Muhammad Al-Assar said he takes pride and pleasure in visiting Al-Azhar and meeting the Grand Imam, pointing out that introducing a service to Al-Azhar is a national duty towards this ancient Egyptian Islamic institution.
