Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, received a delegation from Ras Al Khaimah Medical & Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU) headed by Dr. Yasser Al Nuaimi, representing Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Yasser Al-Nuaimi conveyed to the Grand Imam the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, expressing his great appreciation for Al-Azhar’s scientific and missionary role, and its efforts in promoting peace and community coexistence.

The delegation said the University of Ras Al Khaimah is looking forward to cooperating with Al-Azhar University and benefiting from its long medical experience, indicating that Al-Azhar, with its medical colleges and university hospitals that provide services to millions of patients, is a fertile field that can be useful for training medical students in various specialties.

The Grand Imam affirmed Al-Azhar's readiness to cooperate with the University of Ras Al Khaimah and to provide scientific and practical support to its students. He expressed his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi and the United Arab Emirates for their appreciation and permanent cooperation with Al-Azhar.
