Al-Azhar efforts protect young people from deception by terrorist organizations, UAE delegation
Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, received a UAE delegation, which included Dr. Ali bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, President of the World Muslim Communities Council, Dr. Muhammad Matar Al Kaabi, President of the UAE General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Dr. Yousef Abdullah Al Obaidli, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center.
The UAE delegation praised the efforts of the Grand Imam and his global role in promoting the values of peace and moderation, confronting extremist thought, and building bridges of dialogue and communication with religious leaders around the world. They stressed that Al-Azhar's efforts contributed to protecting young people from being deceived by the slogans of terrorist organizations.
The Grand Imam expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates for their sincere heartfelt feelings, adding that the UAE has become a symbol of peace.
