Lebanese President Michel Aoun is visiting the Headquarters of Al-Azhar, where he is scheduled to meet with the Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb. The meeting will involve a discussion of ways of cooperation between Al-Azhar and the Lebanese Republic, in addition to a number of Arab and regional issues of common interest. It is noteworthy that this is the first visit of the Lebanese President to Egypt since he took office last October.
