UN General Assembly president visits the Headquarters of Al-Azhar and meets with the Grand Imam
President of the UN General Assembly’s 71st session, Mr. Peter Thomson is visiting the Headquarters of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, where he will meet with the Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb. The meeting is scheduled to discuss ways of cooperation between Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif and the UN General Assembly, and some other issues of common interest.
