Former Minister of Endowments congratulates the Grand Imam on the success of his Southeast Asian tour.

 

 

Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, received today, Tuesday, at Al-Azhar headquarters, Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, former Minister of Endowments.

 

The former Minister of Endowments congratulated the Grand Imam on his safe return to his homeland, after his successful foreign tour to Southeast Asia, which included Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. The visit confirmed the confidence of the peoples of these countries in Al-Azhar, and the acceptance, love and great status that His Eminence enjoys in the hearts of the peoples of Islamic countries around the world.

 

 

The Grand Imam, for his part, welcomed Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa to Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, encouraging him to continue his scientific and research activities at Al-Azhar University, and to serve students and researchers, praying to Allah Almighty to grant him success and guidance in the future.
