His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, received Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, who briefed the Grand Imam on the government’s new financial network system. The Grand Imam stated the existence of an accurate financial system that contributes to achieving transparency, integrity and functional justice, allowing optimal utilization of the Egyptians’ resources and capabilities, and sustaining the state’s efforts to advance and upgrade the services provided to the citizens. 

For his part, Mr. Maait indicated that the new e-financial network system substitutes the digital for the paper, the case which contributes to tightening financial control over the state's general budget.
