His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad al-Tayyeb published a tweet in Persian for the first time, condemning the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and warning against the Zionist entity's attempts to sow chaos in the region and transform it into an arena for conflict and war.

The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar stressed that the systematic attacks and ongoing violence perpetrated by this usurping, aggressive entity aim to drag the entire region to the brink of explosion and ignite a comprehensive war in which only the blood merchants and arms dealers will win.

The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar's tweet read: “I strongly condemn the continued aggression of the occupying entity against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the systematic attacks and continuous violence by this usurping, aggressive entity, aimed at dragging the region to the brink of explosion and igniting a comprehensive war in which only blood merchants and arms dealers will win. The international community's silence over this tyranny and its failure to stop it mounts to complicity in the crime, resulting in nothing but a threat to the security of the entire world, for war can never create peace.”
