The Grand Imam Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, extends his sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, General Mohamed Zaki, Minister of Defense and Military Production, the leaders, officers and soldiers of the brave armed forces, and the great Egyptian people on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai. Al-Azhar Grand Imam affirms that the liberation of Sinai and its restoration to the bosom of the homeland is a memory dear to the souls of all Egyptians. It perpetuates a historic epic of pride and dignity for recovering the land without wasting any part of its soil. He stressed that Allah has assigned to the beloved Sinai heroes and loyal soldiers who pledged to Allah to sacrifice their pure souls to liberate it from the usurping occupier;, and indeed, they sacrificed their lives for the soil of this country. Al-Azhar Grand Imam calls on the Egyptians to draw inspiration from the spirit of victory to build a bright future for this country and develop its renaissance, praying to Allah Almighty to bless our beloved Egypt with security, safety, stability and prosperity, and to protect its people from all types of harm and evil.
