His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad al-Tayyeb, extended his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and to the government and people of Qatar, on the passing of several members of the Amiri Diwan in a tragic traffic accident in Sharm El-Sheikh.

His Eminence prays to Almighty Allah to forgive the victims and show them His mercy, grant them eternal peace in Paradise, and grant the injured a speedy recovery. He also prays that Allah grant patience and solace to their families and loved ones. “Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.”
