The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb and HH Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, have just arrived at Al-Azhar Conference Hall, Nasr City, to attend the Egyptian Family House (EFH) Congress on its 10th anniversary. The EFH constitutes a unique model of fraternity and coexistence among the citizens of the same nation. 

The congress discusses certain themes over five sessions, including tolerant text and its role in sustaining societal peace, and the impact of citizenship in consolidating of coexistence. It also addresses historical situations and practical applications of key EFH achievements, as well as joint cooperation between EFH and WAAG in promoting peace. Other discussions involve EFH role in preserving national identity, confronting violence against women, and corruption, in addition to discussions on the “Together we build Egypt” initiative and its role in promoting intellectual security”
