The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb posted on his official Facebook and Twitter accounts, in Arabic and English: “I was pleased to meet Prince Charles at Al-Azhar Mosque … We discussed key contemporary humanitarian crises, and I found him a wise and responsible leader and a fair Western voice on Islam and Muslims. We also discussed the importance of promoting interfaith dialogue, the climate change crisis, and the necessity of finding radical solutions to curb its danger.”

It is worth noting that Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb received Britain's Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, at Al-Azhar Mosque in Cairo, yesterday, Thursday, to discuss ways of promoting cultural and academic cooperation between Britain and Al-Azhar, promoting interfaith dialogue, and contemporary humanitarian crises, most prominently climate change.
