Grand Imam of Al-Azhar heads to the UAE capital to chair MCE periodic meeting

Tomorrow, Monday, morning, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb will head to the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, to chair the activities of the periodic meeting of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE). The meeting will discuss key issues of the Muslim nation on the global stage, including positive integration of Muslims in Western societies, issues of peace, strengthening the role of Islamic religious leaders in supporting the stability of societies. The meeting will also discuss the MCE role in qualifying youth leaders to carry the banner of world peace in the future, raising youth awareness of humanitarian crises and enhancing their engagement and effective role in facing these crises in ways that contribute to promoting the values of coexistence and peace.
