The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar congratulates President El-Sisi and the Armed Forces on the anniversary of the Ramadan 10 Victory
The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof Ahmad At-Tayyeb, extends his sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and to members of the Armed Forces, leaders, officers and soldiers, and to all the Egyptian people on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of Ramadan 10 Victory. The Grand Imam asserts that the glorious October Victory marks a memorable lesson for the Egyptians, and all the free people around the world on the meanings of pride and dignity. It will thus remain a testimony to the greatness, power and steadfastness of the Egyptian army that stood in the face of occupiers and tyrants. The Grand Imam thus calls on the Egyptian masses to invoke through this memory the meanings of determination, perseverance and diligence for the advancement of our dear Egypt. He also prays to Allah Almighty to shower our blessed martyrs with mercy and to safeguard Egypt, its army and its people from all evil and harm and to bless us with many happy returns of this occasion where we enjoy sustained wellbeing, prosperity and stability.
