Grand Imam meets new Egyptian Ambassador to Serbia
This morning, Wednesday, at Al-Azhar Headquarters, the Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb received Mr. Basil Salah, the new Egyptian Ambassador to Serbia to review Al-Azhar’s strategy to serve the Muslims of Serbia. The meeting dealt with Al-Azhar’s efforts in the field of training Imams and preachers, designing specialized training programs to address community-specific issues and relevant challenges, the role of Al-Azhar international students in introducing the moderation of Islam and spreading the true religion, and potential services Al-Azhar can offer the Muslims of Serbia.
