Grand Imam mourns benevolent Engineer, Mahmoud Talˁat Al-Feki
In constant contentment with Allah’s Decree, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, mourned engineer Mahmoud Talˁat Al-Feki, the righteous and benevolent figure, who passed away today, Saturday, at Al-Sayed Jalal Hospital. The Grand Imam recalled the memorable stances of the deceased in serving Al-Azhar and helping the poor and the needy, considerable charitable activities, and his support for Al-Sayed Jalal Hospital Complex through establishing the Specialized Surgery Hospital, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, outpatient clinics building and the internal departments building. The Grand Imam also noted that the Engineer Al-Feki had contributed to the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering for Girls at Al-Azhar University, and a number of Al-Azhar institutes across Egypt. HE the Grand Imam thus extended sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, praying to Allah Almighty to shower him with mercy and forgiveness, to make his efforts in the path of goodness and righteousness an intercessor for him on the Day of Judgment, and to grant his family and relatives patience and solace, "We belong to Allah and unto Him we shall return."
