Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb sincerely congratulates President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces; General Mohamed Zaki, Minister of Defense and Military Production; the Egyptian Armed Forces: Leadership, officers, soldiers; and the masses of the Egyptian people on the 49th anniversary of the victory of the Tenth of Ramadan.

 

The Grand Imam confirms that the epic of the Tenth of Ramadan will remain engraved in the memory and hearts of the Egyptians. It is an emblem of honor worn by our brave soldiers, who recorded a history of pride and dignity, setting an example of sacrificing their souls in order to restore the soil of their homeland without compromising an inch of our beloved Egypt.

 

Al-Azhar Grand Imam calls on the Egyptians to draw inspiration from the meanings of sacrifice and patriotism from the memory of the Tenth of Ramadan victory. He called on them to imitate our valiant soldiers who performed a great epic while fasting, confirming that the month of Ramadan is a call to work, exerting effort, and actively participating in building the nation, its renaissance and its elevation.  The Grand Imam asked Allah Almighty to restore this good occasion to our dear Egypt with more security, safety and stability, and to protect Egypt and the Arab and Muslim nation from harm and evil.
